Labor Day weekend was a good one! What a difference a couple of days makes! From Saturday enjoying a hot day at Lake Elmo to Monday to a cold day with rain. We really liked Elmo Lake. We got to try out Dad's new raft, and everyone liked it. Besides rafting, we swam, built things in the sand, went bird watching. Cov got some anxiety and didn't want to get in for a while but ended up deciding it was fun. Monday, there was snow in the mountains and we enjoyed skating and biking and doing projects at home, having a barbeque and indoor picnic, making "freezing breath" and watching college football game. Glad to have rain and cooler temps to hopefully help temper some of these wildfires. The air has been really so smoky lately! It's gotten better but there are still so many fires everywhere. Continued prayers for our firefighters and the elements! Quite a contrast in our last "real" weekend of the summer, but we enjoyed it and are looking forward to the normalcy that comes with school.
