We went and put up posters in his office window early that morning. I put one upside down, oops! He enjoyed that though. It was mostly a normal day and with all the craziness going on, he was home later, as usual. We had a BBQ and ate hamburgers and all the works for dinner had some video chats and phone calls from family. Around the table, we all said our favorite things about him - he's nice, he's chill, he's fun, he's kind, he loves. He is one of our favorites! We attacked him with balloons and played some games in them, tried our hands at bottle flipping, played some toilet paper games, and a hand sanitizer guessing game (all of these are hot commodities right now). Then we opened some presents. We got him some treats, a big inflatable raft and oars and a pump and made him a giant card with a big balloon that was made out of the Corona virus, which we wrote on the inside this will float away and the sun will come out again. It's been quite a crazy time for him lately! He has been working so hard to keep our community safe. We had "cake" next but we made peanut butter bars, per his request instead. We sang to him and he blew out the candles and made his wish. We finished off the night with scripture study and then watched the new Disney movie Onward, which was super fun and had a great message.
Who's the best? This guy! We love you so much. Happy, happy birthday!
