Did I mention how much we love living right by Bear Lake!? A 40 minute drive over, wahoo! We decided to head there the weekend before Emma's birthday to meet up with Amy & Kolby and kids, and Mark, Mayela & Amber. We enjoyed the day playing in the sand and water and sun. The adults talked and mostly it was fun but things got heated when we talked about Covid and the vaccination (oh sheesh!). We ate sandwiches and chips for lunch. Amber made a cake for Emma for her birthday. We went to get pizza at Firehouse the end of the day and stopped at the Car Wash Ice Cream Shop Soda Garage on the way home for some ice cream and sodas. It was a perfect day and we are so excited we can spend more time at this place we love and that we are closer in proximity to the people we love!
