Emma had an awesome "A New Chapter" Night for Young Womens. The parents were each asked what their daughters most Christ-like attribute was and then they read about each girl. It was so cool because almost all of the girls exemplified different qualities of our Savior. Then the girls all held hands and our Young Women president talked about how God wants it that way. Sometimes we look at others and want to compare, but we need to use our gifts and let others help us with our gifts to bless each other. Here's what was said about Emma - Emma follows the example of the Savior by being selfless. She is constantly putting others' needs before her own. Siblings, friends, parents, neighbors - we always see her think of others more than herself. When she walks into a room, it isn't about her; it's about the people around her. She is always offering to do things for others. Often, she tells me to go sit down and relax and she offers to do something she sees I need to do. She goes about quietly doing good without thought of fanfare or reward. We are thankful for Emma's example. As the first born in our family, she is a great example of selflessness to us as parents and her siblings, and everyone else around her. Love you, Em!
