We stayed home for NYE this year since some of us were a little under the weather. We spent the day watching football, reading, shoveling snow, cleaning and playing. When the afternoon rolled around, we filled balloons with activity ideas, all of the kids came up with at least one. Every hour, we popped a balloon and did the activity inside. We played balloon ball, had an appetizer dinner with various appetizers and tried out our new air fryer we got for Christmas from Grandma & Grandpa Stoddard, broke open our English Christmas crackers, played card and board games, made sparkly play dough, had fun with a marshmallows and catapult, and more. Lucy and Coverton got invited to go to Sage and Dean's home for a party and they had a blast! Daddy and Sydnie took cookies to all of the employees working at the hospital. We all made it to midnight, even Sydnie who got very tired the last 20 minutes and almost didn't make it. This was the first time we've all made it! We watched the ball drop, and cheered in the new year with kisses and some sparkling cider. It's been a great year that's cruised by and we are looking forward to what 2022 will bring!
