Dave – Still at Memorial Hospital of Carbon County working
in Admin. Serves at Scout Master/Young
Mens 2nd Counselor for church. Survived Scout Camp near Yellowstone.
Follows closely college football – Go BYU & WSU Cougs! Looking to fill Bronco Mendenhall’s spot as
head BYU coach.
Melanie – Not getting lazy, just got 50 of these cards for
2 cents. As a bargain shopper, couldn’t
pass it up. Look for homemade cards next
year. ;) Serves as Primary president at
church. Works full time as a mom, living the dream. Works very PT still for American Greetings. Enjoys
getting into the shower before noon, crafting/sewing, blogging, cooking, &
getting a good night sleep.
Emma (9) - Enjoys reading, writing stories and
illustrating pictures to go along with them. Looks forward to Activity
Days. Started art lessons and loves
using different techniques and learning about new artists and styles of art. Still playing the piano until she can learn
all of the hymns in the Hymnbook. Loves
school. Experimenting with makeup.
Callahan (7) – Is a social kid and loves playing with
friends and his siblings. Enjoys sports of all kinds, participated in his
second year of soccer and football. Lost his first two teeth. Can sing his
heart out and is also doing piano. Won
his own tablet from school for his high test scores.
Lucy (4) – Enjoys going to preschool and we don’t’ have to
fight her anymore about going. Has a
blast cooking food in the kitchen. Learning
how to read. Started ballet and loves
it. Has the best imagination. Says the funniest things.
Coverton (2) – Talks up a storm. Likes playing football and saying “Touch
down!”, candy, helping daddy work on projects around the house, dancing,
anything to do with Thomas the train or any “choo choos”, following his brother
and sisters around.
As a family, visited Steamboat Springs, sold cotton candy
and popcorn as a family at events this summer, read the Book of Mormon during
the summer, traveled to Nauvoo, IL, Dave & Mel celebrated 10 years of
marriage, visited some local spots and made lots of trips to Utah to visit the
fam.
A special prayer that Christmas and all your days will be richly blessed.
