Moving into our yellow house

We finally closed and moved into our home on August 9th!  The kids call it "our yellow house".  It's a split level home with a family and living room, spacious kitchen with lots of cabinet space, laundry room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of storage, three car garage, a closed-in breezeway,  and a huge backyard.  Our property takes up two city lots, so it's pretty big.  We're loving it.  It's so nice to be getting settled in...not living out of suitcases and sleeping on mattresses on the floor anymore, haha! It's near the edge of town and it's nice and quiet.  Here we are on moving day and a picture of part of our backyard...next springs project. I'll post more pictures soon of the inside once we get all settled and decorated, because right now, it's a mess!

The family we bought the home from are way sweet.  We did FSBO and they were great to work with.  Also, the kids were thrilled as they left their trampoline, a little go cart for the boys, which they love, and their older daughter left a Minnie Mouse for Lucy.  Fun surprises for them!

We've gotten to know our new neighbors.  We've been so blessed to have great people who care around us!  We've gotten pies, cookies, goodies, tons of produce from people's gardens, visits and introductions of many people wanting to befriend us.  So thankful for that!

And then, at the end of the day, we love to check out the beautiful sunset that we can see from our back patio.  We are so thankful to be able to move to this area and this house!  Can't wait to make lots of memories together here!
