11 supercalifragilisticexpialidocious years together!

Dave & Mellie just hit 11 years marriage!  Since we were on the road the day of our anniversary, we celebrated the weekend before.  We made it a family affair since our cruise this year was kind of our anniversary trip!  ;)  We still think about or time in Alaska a lot...it was amazing!  But really?  11 years already!  It's not dragged by, but gone by in a heart beat.

We first went to Glasgow and did a little shopping and hit up a couple of parks.  Then we drove to Fort Peck and explored around the reservoir, visited the Veterans memorial park, ate at the Fort Peck hotel, and went to the Fort Peck theater to see Mary Poppins.  It was so good!  I'm glad I married a musical enthusiast and so much more!  It was a fun musical and very well done, I wasn't expecting it to be as excellent as it was!

Mary Poppins was actually quite an appropriate way to spend our anniversary!  There were many truisms to our lives.  Life's not always easy and sometimes the going gets rough, but as long as we remember to be extra sweet to each other, "just a spoonful of sugar", this goes a long way.  We try hard to work together in unity as a team, to "step in time".  My Dave reminds me to have fun and "Snap! The job's a game!"  He reminds me of my potential and all of the possibilities - "Anything can happen if you let it!"  And though we're not "practically perfect in every way", we're trying as many ways as we can to perfect our relatonship until it is perfect in every way!  Dave takes the time to "fly a kite" with me and spends time talking to me, serving me, and being with me.  Overall, these 11 years have been "Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!" and I can't wait to see where the next 11 - eternity take us!  I'm thankful for marriage and that God has given us each other to step in time together!
