Sydnie was given a name and a blessing by her father, and in the circle were Grandpa Dan, Grandpa Scott and Uncles Jeff, Randy, Jerry, Brian, Todd, Adam and Mark.
Sydnie was blessed that she would be able to grow and develop as a daughter of God and that she'd comprehend the love that Heavenly Father has for her. She was blessed with a desire to seek after righteousness and make that a priority in her life and to draw upon the Savior's love for her through trials and tribulations. Her mind was blessed that she'd be able to learn and develop and be able to share her knowledge with those around her. Sydnie was blessed with the tools needed throughout life be able to stand tall when called upon. She was blessed that her body would be able to bear the burdens placed upon her and those things she'd need in the moment she needs them. And a reminder that her family loves her and is here for her.
We then took some pictures and had an easy lunch with sandwiches, veggie tray, chips and mini cheesecakes.
What a sweetheart this girl is...we love her and are so grateful for her! Surely, she brings joy!
