O Holy Night, Our 2011 Christmas Card

                           Ryerse Rant 2011
Lucy – Joined our family on February 19 weighing in at 5 lbs., 12 oz. and 18” long.  She is just a delight!  She loves crawling around and exploring, watching her brother and sister, learning new tricks (like clapping, making sounds with her tongue, signing, babbling), giggling and  smiling.
Callahan – Just turned 3!  Loves getting into things and making messes, is fascinated by Big Foot, loves jumping off of and onto things, can always put a smile on your face, likes jamming out to music, enjoys trucks and sports (“Not girly things,” he says, “just boy things…like Monster trucks!”).
Emma – Is 5 and started Kindergarten this year, which she loves!  Her favorite part about school -- the art projects, P.E. and music time.  She loves having play dates with her little (and older) friends, second cousins, and neighbors.  “I really like to read.” She’s a sweet big sister and really takes good care of the younger two.
Melanie  “Has her hands full”, as people always say.  Feels so blessed to be able to stay home with the kids.  Packed our lives up in Ogden and got everyone settled up here in WA.  Served as the Wolf Cub Scout Leader and now is the Relief Society Secretary.  Joined PTSO and volunteers at Emma’s school.   Teaches some  music lessons.  lessons.
David – Worked for U of U Healthcare.  Applied for grad schools.  Finished the Medical Coding program at Weber State and received that diploma and an AHIMA medical coding certificate.  Began the Washington State University Health Care Policy & Administration graduate program in August.  Enjoyed part of the year off-roading with his 4-wheeler and motorcycle.  Sold them all for the sake of education.  Got his concealed weapons permit.  Was a Sunday School teacher for the 16-17 year olds, now a Deacon’s Quorum advisor, and has been teaching with the missionaries for our ward quite a bit.
As a family, our big news was the birth of Lucy, we moved to Spokane, WA (and are enjoying it), we were asked to make a WIC commercial  that's airing on the major networks up here in Spokane.  Keep up with us at: www.ryersesprinkles.blogspot.com, or find David or Melanie on Facebook!

“A night of light, a night of joy, The birthday of the Baby Boy;
A night of light and celebration, Filled with love and adoration;
A night of light, a night of love— Our Savior was sent from God above.”
